A dedicated team of Physiotherapists specialising in neurological, mental health and geriatric care.
I’m Nicole Duff, founder of Nicole Duff Physiotherapy.
I graduated from Wits with a BSc Physiotherapy in 2006 and completed my Masters in adult neurology in 2012.
I’ve had the privilege of practicing across three continents, including a year in London, before returning to SA in 2013 and opening this practice in 2014.
I have a special interest in movement disorders, mental health, and treating Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) patients.
I currently sit on two international committees for both Movement Disorders and FND, and I’m passionate about education — giving our patients the most up-to-date, evidence-based treatment while journeying alongside them and never letting hope fade.
You can find me at our Parktown rooms or Oxford Day Clinic.
That’s where our practice vision was born: “For every person to know hope, which enables them to strive for their fullest potential in all facets of life.”
I’m Kirsten Pietersen. I qualified with a BSc Genetics and BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy from Wits, and I’ve completed Bobath training along with multiple hydrotherapy courses.
I manage the aquatic therapy at NDP and I absolutely love treating patients in the water — it’s pain-free, comfortable, and adds variety to therapy in a way that feels good.
You can find me at our pool in Alberton, our Alberton rooms, or on home visits in the Southern suburbs of Johannesburg.
I’m passionate about neurorehabilitation and treating every patient with compassion and kindness.
I’m Meghan Abrahams. I graduated with Honours in Physiotherapy from the University of Pretoria and joined the practice in 2020.
I have a special interest in Botox and spasticity management, and I’ve been running our Botox Clinic, which has been incredibly rewarding work.
You can find me at our Parktown or Alberton rooms.
I’m passionate about neurorehabilitation and I love that I get to form long-lasting relationships with patients — celebrating the highs and working through the lows together.
We provide comprehensive, compassionate physiotherapy for adults navigating complex neurological conditions, mental health challenges, and the physical changes that come with aging. Our approach is evidence-based, patient-centred, and built on the belief that every person deserves hope and the opportunity to reach their fullest potential.
Our services:
Room-Based Physiotherapy — One-on-one sessions in our fully equipped treatment rooms in Parktown and Alberton. We develop personalised plans targeting your specific goals — improving mobility, managing pain, regaining function, or building strength and confidence.
Home Visits — Expert physiotherapy in your own environment. Ideal for patients who find travel difficult or benefit from therapy at home. We serve the Southern suburbs of Johannesburg.
Aqua-Therapy — Water-based physiotherapy in our heated Alberton pool. A pain-free, low-impact environment where movement feels easier. Perfect for chronic pain, limited mobility, or neurological conditions.
Botox Clinic for Spasticity — Specialised spasticity management using Botox injections combined with targeted physiotherapy. We help patients with stroke, cerebral palsy, MS, and brain injury manage muscle stiffness, reduce pain, and improve movement.
For a patient to be able to stand up from a chair or from their bed is huge! Its a big step towards improved mobility and independence.
In our Monday morning training we strategised and discussed exercises and ways to help our patients improve their sit to stand to help them reach their goals.
