At Creative Academy, we are proud to have a dedicated team of qualified and passionate staff who are committed to providing each child with the best possible education, guidance, and support.

We offer a wide range of activities designed to promote holistic development — nurturing each child academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.

Our preschools follow both the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and CAPS (Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement) frameworks, and we offer lessons in both English and Afrikaans to support strong language development.

Our schools are open Monday to Friday, from 06:30 to 17:30, with both half-day and full-day options available. We follow the government school calendar, consisting of four academic terms. To support our families throughout the year, we remain open during school holidays and offer fun, engaging holiday programmes designed to keep children active, curious, and inspired.

We also offer a variety of extra-mural activities and healthy daily meals, creating a balanced environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

Afrikaans Integration from 2026

After thoughtful discussions with our academic team, we have identified that children from families who aren’t regularly exposed to the Afrikaans language often face extra challenges as they move through primary school.

To help bridge this gap and prepare learners for any primary school they go on to attend, Creative Academy will begin integrating Afrikaans into our daily lessons from 2026 — starting from as early as our 12–18 month age groups.

Our focus will be on developing an essential Afrikaans vocabulary and build understanding through stories, songs, and regular exposure. This will support learners who will need to cover Afrikaans as either a Home Language or First Additional Language, giving them a confident start and a strong foundation for future learning.

Together, we’ll make learning the language a joyful and empowering part of every child’s day.

What our parents are saying

Both teacher Susan and Thandi are absolutely amazing.
They always have a smile on their face, always so happy and loving towards the children.
Tyler is just so happy at school, as a parent that's one of your biggest worries, leaving your child with someone else to take care of. But I have absolutely no worries, I know he is in the best hands and it shows... Both ladies are super helpful, always keeping me up to date on anything I need to know. Such beautiful souls.

I am grateful for them everyday.

Tyler Reid - Baby class

There isn't a single teacher or security guard across the Creative Academy group that do not know my children by name. They know each of us parents and all the Granny's too.
Creative academy have been more than just a school to us!
The love and support that the teachers have shown my babies, taking the time to understand each personality and their uniqueness while amplifying their strengths is beyond appreciated. They are extended family.

They have gone above and beyond through these trying times ensuring our peace of mind, both from a safety perspective as well as academically.
Our children are in the best hands! It is a place where my children wake up happy, excited and looking forward to going to school each day and for us that is priceless.

Thank you Creative Academy!

From the First day my daughter started going to school at Creative Academy she was so happy everyday.
There wasn't a day that she came home unhappy.
The staff and the Principal at the school gives her so much love and I can't say how much that means to me.
They always go out of their way with everything and makes it so much fun being part of this. They take note of every child there and they give each one of them so much attention.
I am so thankful that we came across this school; there is no other school out there that can compare to Creative Academy.

Thanks for the awesome care that my child is getting from you guys, you are super stars and we love
you to bits.

Havana is always so happy to be dropped off at school and that is thanks to the nurturing environment that you have created. Your attention to detail is amazing and we so
appreciate all the effort with her artwork! It makes us smile!
You always go above and beyond to make sure that we are informed when needed about anything medical or developmental and we appreciate all your advice and suggestions!
You are both super special ladies who Havana absolutely loves and you make her so happy! Her big smile at the end of each school
day is all thanks to you.
Words can never express how grateful we are for the care and love that you show her daily.
We are so lucky to have you!

What a lovely initiative to show all the teachers and teaching assistants how valued they are! We feel so lucky that both Natie and Lexi have such wonderful teachers and teaching assistants. It's always hard for a mommy to be away from her babies during the day and miss out on all the adventures and milestones and challenges that
they go through and overcome. What makes it easier is knowing how loved and cared for they
are by the people they are with. Nothing is ever too much trouble for any of the teachers or staff
and they always go the extra mile. I know that both Jess and Michaela spend so much time and effort on planning fun and exciting lessons. And that without the help of Lerato and Nonhlanhla they wouldn't be able to do everything that they do for our little ones. Michaela has taught Natie to be brave enough
to do things he is scared of (like the Eisteddfod), she has taught him to feel confident in himself, she helped him navigate the challenges and anxieties of becoming a big brother and a mommy in and out of hospital last year, she has dealt with all sorts of tantrums and melt downs, and he always comes home excited about the new things he has learnt or the fun things he has done. I am also always so grateful at how Michaela takes the time to capture all these special moments for us in photos. Something I cherish so much. Nonhlanhla has really watched Natie grow. She was with him in yellow class too. She knows how to navigate his moods and encourage him. She is always there late with him and seems so have endless patience even if she is exhausted after a long day and after having to be a mom to a little baby of her own. And with Jess we were
lucky enough to have her with Natie in the baby class and now in the yellow class with Lex. Although we have only been in yellow class for a few weeks, Jess and Lerato have made the transition for Lexi so easy. We are so grateful for all the nappy changes (worst part of the job I'm sure-aside from difficult parents),
patience while she is teething, loves, cuddles, and fun lessons. I know Lexi is going to grow so much and reach new milestones in this class. Knowing that my kiddies are surrounded by love from the moment
they greet John in the morning to the handover with Shannon and off to their class makes me so
grateful for everyone. While we have the most wonderful teachers I know that it's a whole team effort. And that the teachers wouldn't be able to do what they do without the help of everyone else too. And so, we are just too appreciative of everyone! The nutritious meals, the admin, the
security, the beautiful playgrounds and the leadership from you all make Creative Academy my little ones' home away from home! Thank you all!

Adam has been to 4 schools in the last 5 years. We came to Creative Academy really just as the last stop before he transitions into Foundation Phase. And we have received so much more than just a stop over. From Khumalo who is warm and I’m not sure how but he always has a smile, to the teachers at the entrance always going the extra mile, especially on the tough mornings.
Creative Academy feels like home. A place where empathy and compassion is expressed on a daily basis. I’m so happy we found Creative Academy; Adam has grown so much and we are thankful for the support we receive. Teacher Celine is phenomenal and really puts me at ease about Adams growth often. She always has a smile and she is such a go getter.
We are so happy to call it home.

I just wanted to reach out this morning to yourself and Jenna and let you know that you have such precious
treasure in teacher Melisa. I have NEVER seen such passion oozing from a teacher in the work that she does. Countless times I fetch Stella at school and there has never been a time when teacher Melisa is not smiling, comforting the
kids, hugging them, giving them each her undivided attention, gently wiping noses, patiently taking each one to the loo on their request, engaging in each ones half worded conversations with intrigued interest,
doing something in the class to make it look brighter and welcoming, even while they sleeping she is engaged in the class preparing for when they wake up, all while checking on them as they sleep. Her passion just never ever stops, and I tell you I arrive at various times of the day and every time I get there, her passion and smile is constant regardless of the time of day – It is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE to see!
I believe teaching is the MOST undervalued, difficult, and challenging
occupation there is!!! And then you have people like teacher
Melisa who make it seem so rewarding and effortless, she is a true gem. Pease treasure her and her passion for what she does!!

Thank you for the school you have built. My child is so happy.
After stressing about which school was right to watching Maddy blossom, and enjoy school.
Thank you thank you🩷 my heart is at peace when I drop her off.

Donné and Porcia have been absolutely amazing, Milana's development has grown exponentially from the
time she joined Creative Academy. Every morning to get her ready for school, I tell her she is going to Donné and Porcia and only then does she agree to get dressed for school. This tells me that they have really had an impact on her and you can see how much she loves them both. From the Gonçalves family, we want to thank the ladies for their efforts day in and day out. We really see the difference and
Milana absolutely loves going to school because of Donné and Porcia.
I know how hard it can be attending to these little ones, so I commend them both for their passion and effort.

Milana Gonçalves - 3 years

As a first time mom and dad in the midst of a global pandemic we were very unsure about where to place our precious baby girl when the time came for me to return to work. I had a few colleagues who had had their little ones
at Creative Academy and they suggested I contact Jenna and her team. It was the best decision we could have ever made. Not only were all of our concerns and fears put to rest on the open day,
but on the first morning that I took our little one to school my heart
was at ease. Seeing the smile on my baby’s face as she arrives at school and knowing that I am leaving her in the hands of this amazing team,
makes me feel confident to continue my workday. We have seen major developmental growth daily from academic to social and even physical.
We would like to thank Principal Tarryn and her amazing team for loving our little sunshine as she was their own. You will
never understand how much we appreciate every single one of you.

Awwh! I can't put in words how much I appreciate teacher Chantelle. She has taught Aaron so much in the short period he has been in this school, and her effort doesn't go unrecognized. It's not
only the daily schoolwork but manners and how to treat his peers as well. Aaron can't tell me enough how much he loves his teacher and for
me, there is nothing more amazing and reassuring knowing that I get to leave my child, each and every day in the loving hands of the
amazing staff at Creative Academy - especially teacher Chantelle.
Thank you so much Chantelle for being such a good teacher to our little cuddle bug.
P. S Aaron doesn't like me calling him that because he tells
me he isn't my cuddle bug, he is teacher Chantelle’s
cuddle bug.
